Description/Blazon
A metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting a brick red gear wheel of 8 cogs, the 2 upper cogs resting on a pair of gold color metal wings (separated by the upper vertical cog) displayed, all in front of a brick red wheel of 8 spokes, the spokes coinciding with the 8 cogs and the aperture of the gear wheel gold color all above a blue scroll bearing the words "RECOVER REPAIR REPLENISH" in gold letters.

Symbolism
The aviation maintenance and supply mission of the organization is alluded to by the wheel for supply, the gear wheel for maintenance and the wings for aviation. The colors brick red and gold are used for Transportation.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 28 April 1967.
